Dr. Thomas built a long-term relationship with his dentist growing up. As a result, it made a positive impact on him. Choosing to pursue dentistry later in life, he attended the Illinois Institute of Technology before earning his dental doctorate at the University of Pittsburgh. After completing his AEGD residency at the Maricopa Institute of Health Services Hospital in Phoenix, he eventually became the lead dentist at Seahurst Park Dentistry.
His ability to collaborate with other dentists and specialists in the area makes it possible for him to provide exceptional care to his patients. As a dentist near Normandy Park, he continues to deliver life-altering treatment to individuals who desire healthier smiles.
When he’s not in the office, you’ll often find Dr. Thomas spending time with his wife. Marrying in 2020, they enjoy hiking and taking in the scenery throughout Washington.
Always excellent and personable care. It is nice to have a hygienist explain everything they are doing as they go so one has a better understanding of what is going on and why. Dentists are often frightening but not here, you feel the comfort immediately. You are greeted with friendliness the minutes you walk in and out the door. I highly recommend this well organized, fun loving group.

You’ll first need to identify what is most important. This might mean making a list of the criteria you designate as “essential.” Some of the questions you can ask yourself when narrowing down this list might include:
After answering these questions, you can determine which dental office will best meet your needs. At Seahurst Park Dentistry, we proudly serve patients of all ages and offer comprehensive services. We are also in-network with various dental insurance plans and are conveniently located near Normandy Park.
Most patients use their dental insurance to help with the out-of-pocket costs of seeing a dentist. This is the most beneficial way to save money; however, it is not the only way. If you do have a private plan, you can inquire if your dentist’s office is in-network. If so, you can expect to receive partial coverage for minor and major restorative care.
However, if you do not have private dental insurance, it’s important that you find out whether your dentist offers an in-house membership plan and/or flexible financing. At Seahurst Park Dentistry, we are pleased to not only be in-network with many different plans but also provide a membership plan that makes it easy to receive care without the red tape of deductibles and annual maximums. We also offer CareCredit Financing to allow you to break up the cost of your treatment into monthly installments.
Tooth extractions, on average, can range from $150 to $400 in the United States. For many individuals, this is not considered a “cheap” procedure, and it is why many dentists urge patients to use their dental insurance to help cover the cost.
In many cases, tooth extraction is deemed a major restorative procedure, which means that some dental insurance plans will agree to cover up to 50% of the cost; however, this is not always the case. Some companies may offer more coverage while others offer nothing.
If you find that your insurance will not cover the cost, or you don’t have private dental insurance, you can opt for our in-house membership plan or flexible financing through CareCredit. Either option will help you to save when it comes to treating an unhealthy tooth.
If you need to see a dentist right away, you’re better off calling than sending an email. This will ensure that you receive a faster response, especially if you’re dealing with a dental emergency. Most dental offices provide a separate operatory for those who are experiencing a serious oral health problem or injury and require same-day treatment.
Since the goal is to eliminate the cause of pain, assess the overall situation, and develop a plan to treat the problem, it requires the dentist to perform a thorough examination first. Depending on the situation and severity of the case, same-day treatment may be completed.
